JET BLACK SM8 WEDGES
Introducing the SM8 Jet Black all black wedge setup. Inspired by Tour players Cam Smith and Jimmy Walker, the SM8 Jet Black wedges can be customized in an all black setup, including new all black shaft options and new, exclusive BV Wings multi-compound black grip.
“I’ve been stocking more and more Jet Black heads on the Tour van each year,” said Vokey Tour Representative Aaron Dill. “Players love the look of it, and the contrast you get when you add custom stamping and paint-fill – it just pops. Jet Black also helps players reduce glare on those really bright days. When you add in the black shaft and grip, it’s a sharp setup.”
SM8 wedges feature a re-imagined progressive CG, producing improved distance and trajectory control, better feel and a club face that simply wants to square up at impact for more consistent results.
The SM8 Jet Black all black setup is available online or in golf shops.

“Wedges need to be versatile and every player is different. It’s never one size fits all for wedges. That’s why we have many grind options.”
– BOB VOKEY

ALL-PURPOSE WEDGE GRIND FOR FULL WEDGE SHOTS
F GRIND
The F grind is an all-purpose grind that is particularly suited for full shots and shots hit with a square face. Ideal for players who prefer a traditional wedge sole. The F grind is the most played sand wedge on Tour including Justin Thomas, Ian Poulter and Charlie Hoffman.
SM8 M Grind

MULTI-PURPOSE WEDGE GRIND FOR VERSATILITY
M GRIND
The M Grind, Voke’s favorite, is designed for players that like to rotate the club face open and closed to manufacture shots around the green. Ideal for players with a shallower, more sweeping swing type who play shots from a variety of clubface positions. Played by Charles Howell III, Patrick Cantlay and Cam Smith.
SM8 S Grind

NARROW AND VERSATILE WEDGE GRIND
S GRIND
The S Grind features a full sole that has been narrowed by a trailing edge grind, giving it a faster feel through the turf. The S Grind is best for neutral to firm conditions and for players that like to control loft with their hands ahead or behind the ball. Played by Jordan Spieth, Adam Scott and Lanto Griffin.
SM8 D Grind

THE PLAYER’S HIGH BOUNCE GRIND
D GRIND
The D grind blends versatility from a heel, toe, and trailing edge grind and forgiveness with its high measured bounce. The D Grind is ideal for players with a steeper angle of attack who play shots from a variety of clubface positions.
